Cynthia Snider was born in Calgary, AB Canada but spent most of her life in British Columbia. Cynthia lived in Golden, B.C. for thirty-four years where she worked and raised her two children, Alex and Karen.  She and her husband Mike now call Kamloops, B.C. home.

Cynthia is self-taught and draws and paints any subject matter that inspires her, from portraits (people & pets) to scenery, still life, and flowers. She also paints on any surface including wood ornaments and thousands of rocks!
Her preferred medium is oil for painting on canvas and acrylic for ornaments and rocks.
